Online therapy is a great way to get started when you’re feeling the pressure of life, a busy schedule and a tight budget. As therapists, we realised that someone needing help with an issue, often struggled with the anxiety of getting to appointments and the stigma associated with telling loved ones they were going to therapy.
Thankfully there is a better, less stressful way to get help. At a time that suits you, in the comfort and privacy of your own home. When the session is over, we even send you a recording so you can listen to it as often as you need to.
How online sessions work
Making your appointment
Booking online is instant with real-time confirmations; we even send you an SMS reminder and a link, so it’s easy for you to start the online session.
Before your session
Your session confirmation SMS and email have all you need to start your online session. Click the link, and we will be there waiting and ready to meet you.
Once your session starts
It’s essential when you start your session; you are in a room or area where you won’t have any distractions or people entering the room. Ideally, you should be sitting in a comfortable chair so you can relax. Using headphones is a good idea and will help to enhance the experience while minimising life’s little distractions.
What’s concerning you
We start by having a chat and asking you questions about the issue you would like to discuss during the session. It can take anywhere from 20 – 40 minutes for us to gather all the information we need to understand how we can help you.
We now begin the Hypnotherapy or PSYCH-K process (depending on what type of session you have booked) This part of the session is where we help you understand the issue and show you how to implement change.
Discuss and evaluate
Once the process is complete, we then have a chat and discuss how you feel, what you learned from the session and answer any questions you may have about what has changed.
At Mind Spirit Body, we believe the best way to get the most out of your sessions is with the new skills and tools to put what you learnt into practice. We give you some homework to take away and implement between now and your next session.
Online sessions FAQ
Yes, it’s possible to use your mobile phone for the sessions as long as it’s in a stand or holder. During the session, you need to have your hands free, and if the session is hypnotherapy, you are likely to drop the phone during the hypnotic session. A laptop with a webcam is ideal for this.
All our online sessions are held using zoom. It is an online meeting application that is 100% free, secure, private and very easy to use.
Online sessions are paid for in full at the time of booking.

Yes! One of the most significant benefits of online sessions is you can book them in the evenings and weekends when it suits you best. These times book out fast, so make your booking early.
Yes! It’s essential that you feel comfortable, confident and that you will get an outcome during the session. If in the first 20 minutes of the session, you think it’s not a good fit, just let us know, and we can stop the session and issue you a full refund. We are only happy if you are happy.
We understand that things come up and our booking system lets you cancel or reschedule as long as it is not within 4 hours of the session time.
Yes! We record all our sessions, and within 24 hours of the session ending, you are sent a link to download the recording. We strongly recommend you listen to the session a few times as this often helps to enhance the original session.
