The Core Ideas of PSYCH-K®️


Although no one can claim for sure what it is, I see it as space in between two thoughts, where we can experience the Life we understand, along with what we can not explain. It is the energy within when we are peaceful, and our Mind has gone more in-depth than our everyday human experience. We are being, as opposed to doing. We are linked to our real self, beyond ego, in the presence of something unique and sacred.

Superconscious Mind:

The Superconscious Mind is additional to your Conscious Mind or Greater Self, or Soul. Our link to intuition originates from the Superconscious. It is your Superconscious that sees the bigger picture and guides you in making specific decisions that turn into your objectives. These are Risk-Free and appropriate in the context of your Life’s purpose.

Your Superconscious resembles a caring instructor who watches over your development and growth. Any initiative to emotionally increase your consciousness develops a crucial bridge between spirituality and psychology. PSYCH-K offers a style that mixes the two methods of seeing Life.

Conscious Mind:

This Mind is our choice/decision making Mind. It establishes different thoughts as well as judges each outcome. Often, all that is necessary to change a belief is to be more consciously aware, and also to have a strong desire to have a new belief in the old one’s place. PSYCH-K can help with this process.

Subconscious Mind:

Also known as our habitual Mind.
It keeps track of the operation of the body’s motor functions, heart rate, and digestion to name a few. It holds our long-lasting memories, past experiences, mindsets, values as well as ideas. It just knows the world only via the five senses which are: visual (seeing), auditory (hearing), kinesthetic (feeling), gustatory (tasting), as well as Olfactory (smelling).

That’s why the most effective communication with the subconscious is accomplished by utilising several of these senses. During a PSYCH-K session, we usually make use of a process that engages these senses, to create the change you desire. PSYCH-K makes it faster and easier.

The Subconscious Mind only thinks literally, rather than abstract. Repeating an affirmation, such as “I am worthy,” which is an abstract declaration to the Subconscious Mind, it’s often not nearly enough to create a lasting change in your belief system. Let’s say you want to change your thoughts of a past event or create a new thought. You will need to define the energy that surrounds that thought in terms of the five senses, after that, your subconscious will have the ability to incorporate a new meaning to past, existing or a future event.

Integrating the Three Minds:

A good student always seeks to master knowledge gained from their teacher. It’s in the same way that your conscious Mind needs to learn how to integrate the learnings of the Superconscious mind; therefore, the Subconscious Mind will then develop what is called the unified consciousness. When you enter this highly aware but natural state, the best possible actions then become automatic, the act of will and your intuition all wrapped in one.

Neuro-Science and Split-Brain Research: During the last thirty years scientists have discovered something called “Brain Dominance” Theory, (known as split-brain research). These findings indicate that each hemisphere of the cerebral cortex will tend to specialize in and preside over various functions; it then processes different kinds of information to deal with all the different memories.

Left Brain:

Logical, Analytical & Reasoning Thinks in terms of words then there is time bound. Extroverted as well as Orderly and controlled

Right Brain

is Emotional and Intuitive. It is also Creative and thinks in pictures, its time free, introverted as well as being Spontaneous and free.

Life experiences, mainly traumatic ones, can often trigger the dominance of one side compared to the other when it is responding to situations that resemble a particularly emotional event from the past. Even though we naturally control both sides of the brain simultaneously, the more emotionally charged the experience, the more likely we will tend to automatically over-identify with just one hemisphere of the brain when we become faced with similar life experiences.

The most significant problem is that people are aware of their conscious beliefs and behaviours, but not of subconscious beliefs and actions. Your subconscious beliefs are working for you or against you, but the truth is that you are not controlling your Life it’s your subconscious Mind that supersedes all your conscious control.

PSYCH-K uses techniques that go beyond affirmations. With PSYCH-K you will power your positive thinking. It is our core beliefs that determine our behaviour. The most effective way to begin changing behaviour is to change the belief you have that supports it. Using muscle testing we communicate with the subconscious Mind, we then establish a connection, to change the present negative belief into the belief that is supportive and will create the most favourable results you choose.

The PSYCH-K Balance

is a process designed to create the Whole-Brain State, which then becomes ideal for reprogramming your Mind with new life-enhancing belief patterns, reducing your unwanted stress and helps you gain access to your full potential.

PSYCH-K & Muscle Testing:

Which is Applied Kinesiology or muscle testing is the easiest way to be able to communicate directly with your subconscious Mind allowing you to discover if you have self-sabotaging beliefs. The subconscious Mind also controls your autonomic nervous system making it responsible for all your neurological functions. When we choose to move our bodies, it’s the Subconscious Mind that directs your movements.

When the Mind is thinking about a stressful thought, there is an electrical conflict that is created in the brain, and then the signal strengths being sent to the body are reduced, this results in a weak muscle response. During a PSYCH-K Session, we establish communication by using this muscle testing technique to identify true and false statements that you hold in the subconscious. As we facilitate, there is no question about what the client believes to be right about the statement. A true statement creates a strong muscle response, and the false statement creates a weak response.

Whole Brain State:

Research shows PSYCH-K creates the Whole Brain State, which in turn becomes a kind of “gateway to your higher consciousness,” then elevating your ability to think clearly at these new levels of functionality or creativity. Psych-K will increase the “cross-talk” between your two brain hemispheres thus resulting in what we call whole-brain integration.


Is a process used in PSYCH-K that creates an energy link between the Superconscious minds of the facilitator and then the client. Permission protocols are used and put in place before this work is carried out to ensure it’s safe, respectful, and there is a noninvasive interaction between the facilitator (the surrogate) and the client. It is a bit like making a phone call between two Superconscious minds. There is never any agenda; only the intention for the highest wellbeing from both parties throughout a session. As the facilitator, whether I am working with the client in person or working through distance on the client’s behalf, permission for muscle testing is done to ensure correct communication at all times with the client’s subconscious beliefs.

Aligning your thoughts and actions: PSYCH-K can provide a variety of safe ways to “rewrite the patterns in your mind” this is done by changing the beliefs that are limiting you, into only beliefs that will support you… with ease and simplicity!

Using Balance as a way to transform Trauma or Distress: This Balance can be used as a way to change someone’s painful childhood events if they continue to cause trauma or anxiety. If the desire is to mend a painful memory or remove any emotional triggers, we do this in an experiential process, so to create new meaning within a Whole Brain State. It can be very beneficial for any past, present and even future event that is causing you to fear and anxiety or even lack of movement throughout your Life. It is such a wonderful process to put your past behind you graciously!

You are using belief Statements to Create a New Belief or Goal: Using a wide variety of balances that are available to change your self- limiting belief and/or your self-sabotaging behaviour and turning it into a positive belief or action that you would experience instead. Once the communication is established using the process of muscle testing, a clear intention can be created to bring about the desired change in a ‘Whole Brain State’.

The Core Belief Balance:

The Core Belief Balance lets you discover and change your ‘core beliefs’ that are blocking you from reaching your best goals. There are thirteen pairs of belief statements that each represents basic, vital issues such as self-love or forgiveness, or your connection to Divine Intelligence. In facilitating the client’s Superconscious and Subconscious mind through the surrogation technique, long-held and self-limiting beliefs can be identified and balanced, and are then replaced with self-enhancing beliefs.

The Whole Brain State:

Research has taught us that PSYCH-K can create a Whole Brain State, this, in turn, acts as a kind of “gateway to your higher consciousness,” elevating the ability to think more clearly and at new levels which may include functionality and or creativity. Psych-K increases your “cross-talk” between the two brain hemispheres which results in whole-brain integration.

How Long Does It Take For the Balances to Work?
The results of a balance might be felt straight away or they can evolve, it depends on the type of goal you have been working on. Some things we balance take longer for them to manifest. It is essential to remember that, in addition to balancing, you need to take the action steps towards creating the results you want to get in your Life. If, for example, you decide to balance for confidence in building a new business that is profitable and fulfilling, then you would need to engage in tasks that make a successful business. Product development, online marketing, even networking may be necessary to achieve that goal.

Another good example may be balancing a health-related issue. While balancing can help you reduce the stress and inner conflict that might be supporting a presence of the dis-ease in parts of your body, it is essential to take all the correct physical steps to help your body to heal itself. e.g. medical processes, diet, exercise, or even rest.

The clarity and meaningfulness of these balances will be more critical in making significant changes in your Life compared to the number of balances you do. It’s the quality that is more important than the quantity. Potential with action will equal results.

How Long Do PSYCH-K Balances Last?

Balances seem to last until they become no longer useful for the Subconscious Mind, or sometimes until you decide its time to balance for a new goal. Life is always an evolutionary process, so what you balance for now in your Life may be inappropriate at a later time.

Remember that Life itself will always remind us when it is time to make changes to some aspect of our reality. Unfortunately, this reminder can often take the form of trauma or another emotionally charged situation for it to get your attention. PSYCH-K enables you to consciously identify critical changes to your Life through ease and flexibility.

If you find yourself re-creating behaviours and thoughts that you previously balanced for to change, it is beneficial to ask yourself, “What benefit will I gain from these old thoughts and behaviours?” When we ask ourselves this question and consider it openly and honestly, the result is usually quite revealing.

Further PSYCH-K Balances

You may need to do further balances that take into account a ‘secondary gain benefit’, that results in the manifestation of the old behaviours or situation.
